Virtual Learning Adventure 2020

Delhi Public School Durg organized Virtual Learning Adventures with fun learning activities for the students of Pre Primary and Primary Wing from 22nd June to 28th June2020. The learning camp was divided into two different sessions, one for the Pre- Primary Wing between 9:00a.m. To 11:00a.m. and the other session starting at 4:00 p.m. to 6:00p.m. for the Primary Wing. The session was hosted on Zoom and Facebook, Live. The aim for organizing this camp with mixed bag activities of creative learning was to boost students’ physical fitness, develop their creative imagination and to amuse them with music & dance and have them learn creative things while confined at home with their parents during the Covid -19 pandemic. The sessions included Yoga and Meditation, Physical Fitness, Recreational Games, Fun Games, Art and Craft, Music and Dance. The children participated with great zeal and interest and were connected Live wherein they could be witnessed doing the activities along with their teachers making beautiful things with clay, sand, water colors and oil pastels. The concept of this online activity based learning was thoroughly enjoyed by the children and their parents also appreciated the efforts of the staff who constantly motivated the children, engaged and taught them new things in these difficult times. The creative explorers shared the pictures of what they learnt during these sessions in their Whatsapp groups. On the finale of the Virtual Learning Adventures, on 28th June 2020, the students gave virtual presentation of what they had learnt from their teachers, online. The Principal, teachers lauded their efforts. The parents also expressed their gratitude to the Principal and teachers of the school, for organizing such creative adventures for children. The session was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
