Position: Admission Counsellor

Start Date: January 2020

Position Description: The candidate will be responsible for guiding the parents to enroll in the school by giving them complete and detailed information about the philosophy and admissions process of Delhi Public School, Durg. She / he will also assist in the application and selection processes.

Preferred Academic Qualifications:

• Graduate of a recognized university, postgraduate qualification desirable
• Competency in computer use; knowledge of Microsoft Office and database management
  
  

Professional Skills:

• Ability to communicate fluently and effectively in English (oral and written)
• Deadline oriented with ability to make sound and informed decisions
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, be detail oriented, and have complex problem solving ability
• Experience in sales & marketing, educational
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Meet and relate well with a wide range of prospective parents and their children, respond to and follow up initial admission enquiries, provide campus tour for visiting prospective parents/students
• Schedule admissions tests and interviews for visiting applicants or those required to take tests by the admissions committee
• Initiate and maintain correspondence and application files related to student enrollment and applications for admission
• Liaise with individuals (primarily parents) and organizations (Corporates and Industries in the city) in spreading information about the school as widely as possible
• Provide data on enrollment to the, Administration
• Other duties as assigned by the administration.
