OPEN DAY CELEBRATIONS (Primary Wing) -2026- ABHIVYAKTI

Delhi Public School, Durg, Primary Wing celebrated its Open Day with great enthusiasm on February 6, 2026. The function was graced by Smt Alka Baghmar, Hon’ble Mayor of Durg District, as the Chief Guest.

The programme was based on the theme “Abhivyakti – The Expression” and showcased the talent and confidence of students through a series of vibrant performances. The Director & Principal Ms. Punita Nehru addressed the gathering and shared the institution’s vision, after which the Academic Coordinator Ms. U.Sapna Choudhary presented the Annual Report highlighting the school’s achievements.” The event began with a welcome dance, followed by an English play titled “Happy September.” The audience also enjoyed the National Folk Dance Bihu and the International Folk Dance Kalinka. The dance drama titled Atma Manthan - Panchatatva Se Atmabodh Ki Ore, conveyed a powerful message of self-realisation through the five elements.

A prize distribution ceremony was also held, with the Chief Guest, felicitating the students and appreciating their efforts. The Chief Guest emphasised that children are the future citizens of our nation and deserve proper time , care and guidance from their parents. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Head Girl and the program concluded with the National Anthem. The event was efficiently co-ordinated by Academic Co-ordinator Ms. U. Sapna Choudhary and I/c Music Ms. Shraddha Kashyap.
